Reproducible Workbooks
PDF Workbooks are free with membership. Print as many as you need! There’s no need to buy one for every student! Reinforce in class the work students do online.
Annual Membership to The Practice Room includes three reproducible workbooks which can be downloaded from the Member Area after you register and login.
Purchase of the books extends right to the purchaser to make copies of the book for their ensembles. So feel free to print as many copies as needed for your students.
Examples become more difficult as you progress through each book. Start off easy and work your way there!
Workbook Features
Choral Glossary
Students can easily look up words they don’t know as they rehearse. The glossary includes common musical terms and terms specific to choral music.
Grading Rubrics
Grade your students work and give them feedback! The rubrics are designed to be quick and easy for teachers to grade, and equally easy for students to understand.
You can collect and grade the workbooks after every ten examples. The rubric asks:
- Did they complete each example as assigned?
- Did they demonstrate comprehension of the concepts?
Things are simple, so grading is very quick.
Instructional Materials
At the start of each level concepts are clearly explained, so students can move forward with a strong foundation. These reference pages help teachers explain new material.
Quizzes
Add academic rigor to your class by quizzing your students at the end of each level. All quizzes cover the material in the corresponding level. There’s nothing for you to do but run them off at the photocopier!
