The Practice Room

Sight singing is tough enough, but if all you're looking at is notes on the screen, it's hard to know where to start. We've got your back! Watch a video lesson explaining concepts that you're about to practice. Each video has exercises with singers to give you the support you need.

You can toggle on help with the Solfege as you work. Once you're feeling more confident, try the exercise without the Solfege. After all, there's no Solfege written into real music, or on the sight singing they hand hou in auditions! Over time you'll find that working without the Solfege helps you become a more independent singer.

Sight Sing

Let's be honest: exercises alone won't get you there. If you want to be able to sight sing real music, then you need to practice with real music. That's all there is to it. So you'll find hymns, motets, madrigals and even some Bach Chorales so you can do just that. There's no text, just notes. But you can toggle on the Solfege if you need it.
